The very first step is the initial Meet & Greet. This is the beginning conversations of the project, who you are and what you’re looking for. This should take no more than 30 minutes and will let us know if we’re a good fit for each other and if I can tackle all your design needs. This is a free phone consultation.
This is where the Discovery Visit happens. After we decide we’re a good fit for each other now, we truly get to know each other. I get to look at the space and get a sense of who you are. This step is incredibly valuable so I can tailor your space for YOU. I charge for this consultation for every project because I want to provide you with valuable design help, without holding back my best design advice and ideas right off the bat. This meeting is at the project site (or virtual walk-through), up to 2 hrs.
I will prepare the Scope of Work document, outlining everything we talked about in the Meet & Greet and the Discovery Visit. Here, you will sign the document and pay 50% of the project costs up front. At the end of design delivery, you will pay the remaining 50% of the Scope of Work.
After the Scope of Work has been signed, I will begin the design process and delivery of materials. Depending on the level of services and the scale of the project will determine the timeline of delivery.
Design is a collaborative process. Through the Discovery Visit, I will get some information from you, ask questions, walk your space and get a sense of who you are. Depending on the level of services you seek, we can set up a Pinterest page to share images – this is a great tool to like/ dislike images and add comments to help me better understand you. I always encourage you to share any inspiration images you have.
Some questions include:
There will be some back and forth. After my initial assessment, I will send you a custom Design Board with images. You will have the opportunity to yay or nay anything and provide more feedback on if it’s the right style for you. I will make corrections and send you a second/ final document. We can discuss further if additional changes need to be made.
If the Scope of Work includes specific information, furniture, etc. I will follow up with additional documentation.

Since this is a partnership, I will ask for a level of involvement from you to create your style. This can include:
What can you expect from me?
